I had the great honor to be invited to give a seminar at the Sociedad Argentina de Biologia (SAB) (Argentine Society of Biology) Annual Meeting in December 2025 at the Instituto de Biología y Medicina Experimental (IBYME) (Institute of Biology and Experimental Medicine) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was a great opportunity to hear about all the great science that is happening (with very little support) in Argentina. I also had the chance to spend some time with my sister, Eugenia Matzkin, who is an investigator at IBYME. Additionally, I gave another seminar at Universidad de Buenos Aires Instituto de Ecología, Genética y Evolución (Institute of Ecology, Genetics and Evolution) to great collaborators, colleagues and friends (Esteban Hasson, Juan Fanara, Julian Mensch).
